Tom Harris Fund for Families

Creating childhood memories for local kids in need.

We believe that growing up as a kid should be remembered as a time full of care-free and rewarding experiences. However, many local kids in communities across British Columbia and Alberta come from families in need, where once in a lifetime experiences like a week away at summer camp are just not a financial priority.

Created in 2018 to honour Tom Harris' legacy as a family man and community leader in philanthropy, the Tom Harris Fund for Families helps create childhood memories that last a lifetime for local kids from families in need.

How we've helped so far

YMCA Strong Kids

$150,000

contributed to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and local youth organizations since 2018 across BC and Alberta.

Kids in Camp

1000+ Kids

went to summer camp since 2018, who wouldn't have otherwise had the opportunity due to financial hardship.

Tom Harris Skydiving

committed Tom Harris Cellular team members went skydiving in 2018 to raise donations for the Fund for Families.

Tom Harris Spin for Families

committed Tom Harris Cellular team members rode bikes for 24 continuous hours in 2019 for the Fund for Families.

committed Tom Harris Cellular team members participated in 8 weekly fitness challenges in 2021 for the Fund for Families.
